KittiKrackTM is made from 100% natural silvervine and contains no additives or preservatives. Silvervine (Actinidia polygama) is a climbing vine native to mountainous areas of China and Japan. Silvervine comes in several forms including a fine powder and dried sticks made from the plant’s vine. A cat’s reaction to silvervine can be similar to catnip, but is often more intense. In fact, cats typically prefer silvervine to catnip. This more intense reaction is due to the presence of two olfactory attractants (actinidine and dihydroactinidiolide) in silvervine as opposed to only one (nepetalactone) in catnip. Reactions vary from cat to cat, and can range from frolicking and dancing in a state of heightened alertness to a relaxing dream like state (euphoria). Typical behaviors include excitement, playing, jumping, hiding, rolling, kneading, chin and cheek rubbing, vocalizing (meowing, purring), drooling, staring/gazing and licking. These effects typically last between five and thirty minutes. KittiKrack can be used daily as environmental enrichment and to stimulate exercise and interactive play. Supervised play is always recommended. KittiKrack is intended for use in kittens and cats aged six months or greater and supervision is always recommended. Playtime should be limited to 30 minutes, after which the product should be put away. If you notice that your cat is becoming less reactive to KittiKrack, try limiting exposure to a maximum of 2-3 times weekly. KittiKrack Powder: Sprinkle 0.5 grams (approximately 1/4 teaspoon) of powder on your cat’s toy, scratching post, bedding or wherever you want them to play. Sit back and enjoy the show!
