Seachem Flourite

Seachem Flourite Premium Planted Aquarium Substrate is an ideal substrate for live plants. It is made of specially fracted stable porous clay gravel for use in any natural aquarium. Mix with your existing gravel or use alone for best results. Any mixture should be at least half Flourite, which allows Flourite to act like a plant food for your planted tank. Laterite or other gravel modifiers are not needed. Flourite is not chemically coated or treated and will not effect Ph. Each bag will provide for a 2″ deep bed in a 10 gallon tank. Recommended use is 2 – 4 pounds per 31 square inches of tank bottom. 7.7 lb bags have built in strainer for pre-rinsing right in the bag. Flourite Black is a fine sand type substrate.
