Uses Percorten-V Injection for dogs contains desoxycorticosterone pivalate as the active ingredient. This medication is used in the treatment of canine Addison’s disease (hypoadrenocorticism). Cautions XConsult with your veterinarian if your pet has a history of an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients found in Percorten-V Injection. Keep out of reach of children. How to use Percorten-V Injection is for intramuscular use in dogs only. Administer this medication to your pet as directed by the veterinarian and follow the instructions on manufacturer’s packaging. Possible side effects Weakness, weight loss, lethargy and diarrhea are some of the possible side effects. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your veterinarian promptly. Missed dose If you miss giving a dose, give it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.
