Fluval Nitrite Remover

The Fluval Nitrite remover pad design is unique to Fluval and this particular product is specifically designed to fit inside the Fluval 306/307/406/407 range of external filters allowing for efficient filtration. The Fluval Nitrite remover is an essential form of filter media as it helps reduce and remove nitrites, which if left untreated can be detrimental to your fishes health. The Fluval Nitrite remover also helps keep the tank looking clean as it helps collect waste/food particles that can be seen floating around in the tank. The Fluval Nitrite remover pad can be used in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. For the best result, it is recommended to change the pad once a month but DO NOT change this at the same time as your other Fluval filter media as you run the risk of losing too much beneficial bacteria which can result in unstable water parameters. This package contains 6 separate pads.
