Uses Veraflox Oral Suspension contains pradofloxacin as the active ingredient. This medication is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Veraflox is used in the treatment of skin infections such as wounds and abscesses in cats caused by certain types of bacteria. Cautions Veraflox Oral Suspension should not be used in cats with known hypersensitivity to pradofloxacin. Keep out of reach of children. How to use For oral use in cats only. Shake bottle well before use. Administer this medication to your pet as directed by the veterinarian and follow the instructions on manufacturer’s packaging. Possible side effects Diarrhea, vomiting, reduced appetite are some of the possible side effects. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your veterinarian promptly. Missed dose If you miss giving a dose, give it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.
